3,000 Fewer Sixers Fans Come Out Per Game

The Philadelphia 76ers finished  their β€œrebuilding” year averaging 13,869 fans a game -- a decrease of nearly 3,000 fans per game over last year’s mark. It represents a 17 percent drop.

On Monday night, the team recorded its 18th win in the last home game of the season.

The team averaged 16,717 fans last season to rank 17th in attendance in the 30-team National Basketball Association. This year, it plummeted to 29th place.

Despite the steep dropoff in attendance (and interest), the Sixers were still not the lowest in the NBA. The Milwaukee Bucks head into their final home game Wednesday night averaging 13,496 fans per game. Read more about this story on PBJ.com
