Zegna's Opening a Store in Philly

The global luxury men's retailer Ermenegildo Zegna will open a store in Philadelphia, reports WWD. Following strong profits for 2010, the Italian retailer has decided to expand its presence in the United States, the brand's second strongest market. Three new stores are set to open this year: Atlanta; Short Hills, N.J.; and Philadelphia. Zegna stores were established in Manhasset, Long Island, and Las Vegas last year.

An exact opening date and location have yet to be announced, but we predict the store will take up residence somewhere in the vicinity of Walnut or Chestnut Streets, west of Broad. For now, the only place to find the brand locally is Boyds.

The Italian brand is a purveyor of sartorial suiting, shoes, leather goods, cashmere sweaters, and sportswear with European influences.
