Report: N.J. hospitals’ operating margins up in ‘07

Operating margins at New Jersey hospitals were up slightly in 2007 - from 0.6 percent in 2006 to 1.3 percent last year - but total margins, which include grants and investments, were down, according to a report released today by the New Jersey Hospital Association.
