The Craft Beer Express has grown exponentially in popularity over the last few years, and this weekend, each stop along the way will feature a specific theme, brand, or style.
A few of the notable spots with themes we dig are: The All-Nitro lineup at Kraftwork, the Wet-Hop Rodeo at Johnny Brenda's, Ancient Brews at Standard Tap (with tons of Dogfish Head, of course), Funky and Sour Beers at Jose Pistola's, Ommegang at Kite and Key, Founders Brewing at The Sidecar, Pumpkin Beers at POPE, and the Bock Brews at Brauhaus Schmitz.
The buses start rolling at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, and keep on moving until 9 p.m., which is plenty of time to get buzzed. Tickets for the bus will set you back a ten spot, so get to ordering before they're all gone.
There's one pretty serious change in terms of ordering your tickets this time around, as you must pick a starting bar and purchase your bus ticket online at that specific watering hole. Once you exchange that paper ticket at the door of your chosen launch pad, you'll be given a wristband that'll allow you to roam free on the bus all day.
We've been proponents of the CBE since it started, but really support the new format, as you can plan your day of drinking accordingly. Also, if you know you're a serious hophead or sour freak, you can take the bus where you need to go and plant yourself in one spot for the duration. Winning options all around. [The Feast]
