Jamie Foxx Films at Local Prison This Week

Jamie Foxx was back in the Philadelphia area and on-set of “Law Abiding Citizen” in Delaware County Monday morning, after performing at the 51st Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night, according to NBCphiladelphia.com’s on-set source.

Foxx, who is starring in director F. Gary Gray’s (“The Italian Job,” “Be Cool”) film about a man seeking vengeance on the penal system, is shooting with the film’s production crew at the George Hill Prison in Glen Mills, Pa. Monday. The set will remain at the prison until Friday.

Until Monday, most of the film had been shot at City Hall on Broad Street in Philadelphia.

Foxx performed at the Grammys with Smokey Robinson, Ne-Yo and Duke Fakir in tribute to the Four Tops Sunday night before catching a flight back east for an early morning call time.

According to our source, “Law Abiding Citizen” will be shooting at locations all over the Philadelphia area until the end of March. Today is day 14 of a 55-day shooting schedule.
