Iggy Goes Down With Achilles Strain

Sixers star guard/forward Andre Iguodala left the team’s game against Cleveland Friday night with a strained Achilles.

Iggy never came out of the locker room after halftime with what the team called a right Achilles' tendon strain.

He would not return in the Sixers 123-116 loss to the Cavs.

It wasn’t known when he was injured. Iggy scored seven points in the first half.

Iggy hasn’t missed a game since the 2006-07 season.

He averaged 17.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last season but this year he has stumbled out of the blocks averaging just 14.4 points and 5.6 boards. He has however put up 6.2 assists per game in the Sixers first five games up from 5.8 assists last season.
