It’s hard to believe with the grand, sweeping ceilings, tropical dcor and lavish art deco-styled furnishings that the Cheesecake Factory is attached to a mall. The atmosphere is stunning and sets the mood for a sophisticated meal, even if you are in walking distance of a Sears. This new add-on to the Willow Grove Mall attracts crowds on every night of the week.
If you are looking to have an intimate dinner, request a booth, but, if you’re in the mood to mingle, take advantage of the social atmosphere and grab a table where you can dine with other guests and maybe strike up some good conversation. There’s plenty of drinks available to enhance the party atmosphere, including mojitos, margaritas and martinis.
The best part about the Factory is that the food tastes as good as the place looks. Just be warned, portions are enormous! The Factory Burrito ($13.95) is an industrial-sized wrap super stuffed with seasoned chicken, rice, onions and peppers topped with an awesome spicy cheese sauce. It’s served with black bean, rice, guacamole, salsa and sour cream. The Four Cheese Pasta ($12.95) is an elegant serving of penne lightly flavored with mozzarella, Romano and parmesan and finished with ricotta and fresh basil. If you’re in the mood for lighter fare, try the traditional club sandwich ($9.95), with a hearty helping of freshly roasted turkey or the chicken finger platter ($7.95) which comes tastefully presented with a variety of dipping sauces and celery.
The service at the Cheesecake Factory is always attentive. The staff is constantly in motion, and despite the regularly packed-house, the service is always swift, but never rushed. Stop by for brunch on Sunday mornings and don’t forget to save room for dessert. This is the Cheesecake Factory after all! You can choose from varieties of cheesecake such as white chocolate raspberry truffle, tres leches, tiramisu and even chocolate chip cookie dough. Enjoy the weather and dine al fresco in the newly opened outdoor dining area.
