It’s the event that Jazz lovers wait for every year.
The 6th Annual West Oak Lane Jazz and Arts Festival hits Philly this weekend. That means three days of non-stop music, art, shopping, food and fun. More than 500 local and world-renowned artists will perform live. Along with Jazz, performers will play hip-swaying R&B, innovative fusion, dance floor funk or old-school soul.
Some of the performers include Philadelphia native Bill Paul, gold and platinum artist Jeffrey Osborne, the widely regarded “Average White Band," one of R & B's most beloved groups “The Whispers,” and an American original “WAR.”
But the fun doesn’t end there. You can take a stroll through the Market Place and find hand-crafted jewelry, books, crafts and other unique items.
One of the best parts of the event is the price -- It’s free!
Bring a blanket and an appetite with you on June 19, 20 and 21 to the 7100-7400 blocks of Ogontz Avenue, right in the heart of Philadelphia’s West Oak Lane neighborhood.
