Ron Livingston Files TPS Reports on 2 New Films

Ron Livingston, the genius who carried "Office Space," has signed on for two more roles that sound as though they're beneath a man of his talents. But, hey, at least he's working.

Livingston will appear alongside Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton in "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," based on a story by Ahmet Zappa, reported The Wrap. The film focuses on a childless couple, Garner and Edgerton, who "bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. Soon, a child is born, though Timothy Green is not all that he appears" (via IMDB).

Additionally, Livingston has joined the high school reunion ensemble film from executive producer Channing Tatum, "Ten Year." Beyond Livingston and Tatum, the film also stars Brian Geraghty, Rosario Dawson, Anthony Mackie, Kate Mara, Justin Long, Scott Porter, Lynn Collins, Chris Pratt and Oscar Isaac.

Livingston can next be seen March 11 in "Queens of Country," starring Lizzy Caplan (is she waiting too long to capitalize on her moment?) as a woman who, according to the film's Facebook page, "finds a lost iPod filled with songs that speak to her sensitive heart. Jolene Gillis is convinced the owner is her soul mate and she is thrust into a sexy, heartwarming and hilarious adventure of mistaken identities, ATVs, line dancing competitions, kidnappers, time machines and doppelgangers."

Would somebody please get serious about making Livingston a movie star, and stop relegating him to minor roles in movies like "Going the Distance" and "Dinner for Schmucks"?
