Eagles' No. 1 draft choice OL Danny Watkins signed his rookie contract Monday night and will be reporting to Eagles Training Camp Tuesday.
The four-year deal is guaranteed for three years. It was originally reported by Sports Final’s Howard Eskin on Twitter.
The total value of the deal is believed to be around $7.9 million, Eskin said.
Watkins, 26, was the 23rd overall pick in April’s NFL Draft. The 6-foot-3, 310-pounder could play either guard or even tackle on the Eagles offensive line.
With Watkins headed to Lehigh, only WRs Jeremy Maclin (illness) and DeSean Jackson (holdout) remain absent from training camp.
