Philadelphia based Urban Outfitters, Inc. has provided its shoppers with a unique sense of style and now it will provide brides with a brand just for them.

“The idea for creating a brand aimed at weddings -- featuring heirloom gowns, accessories intimate apparel, décor and gifts -- grew out of the company’s exiting business, which often catered to brides and their entourages.” Glen T. Senk, chief executive officer of Urban Outfitters, told the Inquirer.

The company, which also owns the upscale retail store Anthropologie, is looking to continue it's upward sales trend in the coming years and feel that the launch of this new bridal line will help them do so, according to the paper.

So we bet you're pretty excited to check out the line, but you're going to have to wait, ladies, because Urban Outfitters isn't launching the line until next Valentine's Day (2011). The wedding goodies will be available exclusively online at first, with stores to follow.
