Filmmaker Steven Spielberg is coming to Philadelphia to receive the National Constitution Center’s 2009 Liberty Medal for his “artistic and personal commitment to the preservation of human rights” through films like Schindler’s List.

The Jurassic Park director will be honored on Thursday, October 8 at the National Constitution Convention Center in historic Philadelphia.

And you can get tickets to this star-studded event.

Tickets -- which are free -- are available on a first come first served basis and are limited to two per household. You can order them from Ticketmaster starting on Tuesday, September 15 at 10 a.m.

Former President Bill Clinton, Chairman of The National Constitution Center, will present Spielberg his Liberty Medal, while Governor Ed Rendell and Mayor Michael Nutter will also participate in the ceremony.

With all of the big names involved, the ceremony should be an event to remember.
