Former Flyers coach Craig Berube is back in the NHL.
The 51-year-old, who played in the NHL for two decades as an enforcer on the ice, was named associate coach with the St. Louis Blues on Thursday afternoon.
Berube served as head coach of the AHL Chicago Wolves this past season.
He was fired by the Flyers on April 17, 2015 after the club failed to make the playoffs.
His two-year record with the Flyers was 75-58-28 and included a gut-wrenching, seven-game, opening-round playoff loss to the Rangers in 2014.
He had a memorable line on the day he was fired.
