A 13-year-old boy has died after the all-terrain vehicle his older brother was driving crashed into some trees in southwestern Pennsylvania.
State police say the dead boy is Anthony Maffio, who lived on Shipe Rune Road in Amwell Township, Washington County, where the crash occurred about 11:40 p.m. Thursday.
The boy's 16-year-old brother, whose name hasn't been released by police, was flown to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not immediately available Friday.
Police say neither boy was wearing protective clothing or helmets when they crashed.
Anthony Maffio was taken to Washington Hospital, where authorities say he died of head injuries.
