A woman is recovering after police say she was attacked during a home invasion in the Point Breeze section of the city.
The 49-year-old woman was inside a home on the 2000 block of Watkins Street at 1:35 p.m. when at least one armed suspect entered the house.
Police say the woman was attacked during the incident and suffered facial injuries. She was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where she is currently in stable condition.
Investigators have not yet revealed whether the suspect stole anything from the home. No arrests have been made.
