Man Threatens to Rape, Murder Child Porn Investigator

A Pennsylvania man was sentenced to 38 months in prison followed by 10 years of probation for possessing child pornography and threatening to have female U.S. postal inspector who investigated his case raped and murdered.

Todd Markley, of Export, Pa. pleaded guilty in February. He was sentenced on Tuesday.

Markley, 49, was targeted in a federal string operation after his name showed up on a customer list of a Los Angeles-based distributor of child pornography that was raided in 2006. Markley was charged after he requested an emailed catalog of DVDs in May 2011, and in February 2012, he ordered two videos from the fake porn business.

Markley was subsequently charged with emailing an expletive-filled diatribe in May 2012 to U.S. Postal Inspector Karen Yoakum, who helped search his home.
