Stabbing Victim Dies 4 Days After Attack: Police

The victim of a bar fight in Upper Darby died Monday -- four days after an attacker stabbed him.

The stabbing victim, Wilson Aquirre, was in extremely critical condition since his throat was slashed  inside La Cantina Bar on the 6800 block of Market Street in Upper Darby, Delaware County, Oct. 9. He succumbed to his injuries Monday, police said.

Investigators are still searching for the suspect -- who they identified as Miguel Escalon. 

Escalon, who is originaly from Honduras, has been on the run since the stabbing occurred last week, according to investigators, who are now classifying the incident as a homicide.

Aquirre was also a native of Honduras.
