Makyla Tucker, 12, and Syncire McGovern, 7.

Two children are missing and a frantic family and police are reaching out to the public for help.

Seven-year-old Syncire McGovern was last seen with his 12-year-old Makyla Tucker at their home on the 3200 block of Byberry Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia just before 4 p.m. Friday.

The siblings were headed to the nearby playground at Decatur School on Academy Road. They were expected to return home by 8 p.m., but never showed, according to police.

Neither has reached out to their mother or been seen since.

Police say that Makyla may have gone to a "Blackout Party" on the 9800 block of Bustleton Avenue.

Makyla was last seen wearing a tan top and green plaid pants. Syncire was wearing a yellow shirt and blue and white checkered shorts.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either child is urged to call police.
