The XXX past of a school aide has ruffled some feathers.

When she appeared in hardcore movies and nude photo shoots, Crystal Gunns was all about XXX. But, where they teach the ABC’s in Vineland, the same woman is now known as Louisa Tuck.

Louisa Tuck's past as XXX star Krystal Gunns has raised some eyebrows in Vineland, N.J.

Tuck has been a part-time cafeteria and playground aide at D’Ippolito Elementary School in Vineland, N.J. since the start of the school year. But recently, word started to spread that she had a prior career in porn and her videos and photos were still easily found on the Internet.

"That's not right for the little kids. Little kids could go on the Internet and see all that," said Yvette Goldsboro on Friday, outside the school her daughter attends.

School security guards told NBC 10 that Tuck was not there Friday.

No one answered the door at Tuck's Vineland home Friday and neither she nor her attorney returned calls from NBC 10 News seeking comment.

Tuck -- in an interview with The Daily Journal -- defended her ability to work around children, despite what she did before.

Bill Clinton smoked pot. Does that make him a bad person?” Tuck is quoted as saying in The Daily Journal.

The paper also reported that Tuck said she’s been out of the porn industry for five years.

Although some have said she does not belong in a school, attorneys for the Vineland School District said Friday that the school system has no legal grounds to terminate Tuck, because what she did in the adult entertainment industry is protected under her first amendment rights.

In addition, because her previous work wasn’t illegal, nothing would have shown up on a criminal background check when she was hired by the school.

Some D’Ippolito parents are not concerned about having Tuck at the school.

"I don’t feel like it’s a problem as long as she’s not doing it now and not involving the school -- bringing it to the school,” said Lashawn Rainner.

Marion Rodriguez also spoke in Tuck’s defense.

“I think what she did five years ago is her business,” she said.

  • WM Saturday, Dec 27 at 7:09 PM FLAG COMMENT They should have promoted her for being a great roll model. Not everyone is fortunate enough to reach a career through normal channels. Some of us have to struggle and overcome many obstacles. It is quite obvious that she settled for the aide job while she worked her way to something better. Most likely she was taking courses at Cumberland County College to get a degree. That is why ex-cons commit crimes and return to pri ... MORE >

No, but all of Bill Clinton's numerous abuses of power and corrupt practices do make him a bad person if you ask me. I would rather see a former adult entertainer than Bill Clinton, the impeached ex-president, working in some school any day.
  • pugluvr Monday, Nov 24 at 1:15 PM FLAG COMMENT I would be more concerned about Yvette Goldsboro's comment that little kids could go on the internet and see all that. Shouldn't there be parental controls on the little kids computers to prevent them from seeing XXX stuff? Please...let the women have her job...in elementary school, I doubt they even understand the word porn
  • Bob Monday, Nov 24 at 12:52 PM FLAG COMMENT I admit that I am a prude but who cares what Ms Tuck did five years ago. Although I do not approve of her career choice, it was her decision and there was nothing illegal about it. I know it is ratings month but why are you pandering to grab a quick headline? I thought better of NBC 10. According to KYW -Baghdad bombs kill 20, 1 hits Green Zone entry but you chose to ignore this in favor of destroying the remnants of the r ... MORE >
  • civilrights Monday, Nov 24 at 12:20 PM FLAG COMMENT leave the woman alone.. she's finally trying to live a life that society sees as "normal". If she was a registered sex offender that would be one thing, but her former career was not illegal...
