    Two men were hurt after a small plane crashed in Amity Township, Berks County Wednesday afternoon.

    The plane crashed around 3:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Amity Park Road and caught fire after slamming into the field.

    John Bertagna of Amity Township and Steven Bosshard of Manasquan, NJ, were both inside the plane and injured in the crash. Both men were removed and taken to the hospital. Officials have not yet revealed their conditions.

    Officials with the FAA will investigate the crash on Thursday.
