Pennsylvania Man Helped Destroy Headless Victim's Vehicle: Police

State police say a northwestern Pennsylvania man helped a murder suspect by chopping up a vehicle belonging to his victim.

The Titusville Herald reports 47-year-old Harry Blair Sr., of Bloomfield Township, was charged Monday with running a chop shop, tampering with evidence and another crime for disposing of a vehicle owned by 55-year-old Gerald VanDyke.

Sixty-eight-year-old Richard Houy, of Cambridge Springs, was charged with killing and dismembering VanDyke, whose headless remains were found in a metal drum in September 2013.

Houy hanged himself in the Crawford County jail last November before he could be tried.

Investigators kept the case open to determine if anyone else was involved in VanDyke's death before charging Blair on Monday.

Blair doesn't have a listed phone nor an attorney listed in court records.

He faces a preliminary hearing Dec. 4.
