PA Teen Admits to Watching TV After Stabbing and Strangling Mom

A preliminary hearing has been delayed for a Pennsylvania teen who allegedly told authorities he watched TV and took a shower after he stabbed his mom with a kitchen knife and then strangled her with some rope.

Thursday's preliminary hearing for 17-year-old Jacob Taliaferro has been postponed until July 7.

Police say he called 911 on June 6, saying he killed Lorrie Ann Demko at their Palmyra home and that she had been dead for some time. Palmyra is about 15 miles east of Harrisburg.

Police found Demko dead on a bedroom floor with multiple stab wounds to her chest.

Lebanon County prosecutors say Taliaferro has been charged as an adult with criminal homicide in the killing of Demko.

Online court records don't list an attorney for Taliaferro who remains jailed.
