    A man fatally shot a 26-year-old nurse inside a South Philadelphia home Sunday before turning the gun on himself, authorities confirmed Wednesday.

    Authorities said 24-year-old William Teves, of the 15000 block of Beverly Road in Philadelphia's Somerton section, shot Amy Girard multiple times in her home along the 2400 block of South Hutchinson Street Sunday morning.

    Several tipsters claimed Teves and Girard were dating and things turned violent when she tried to break up with him.

    Philadelphia Police are working to figure out what caused the deaths of two people in a South Philadelphia home.

    Police identified a domestic dispute as the motive for the shooting, but they did not disclose the nature of their relationship.
