NJ Flags at Half Staff to Honor Colorado Shooting Victims

Gov. Christie ordered flags to be lowered on Wednesday

Flags have been lowered to half-staff in New Jersey to honor the victims of the Aurora, Colorado shooting tragedy.

Gov. Christie issued the executive order that flags would be lowered on Wednesday.

The accused gunmen James Holmes is accused of killing 12 people and wounding 58 others during the mass shooting at the midnight Friday premiere of "The Dark Knight Rises." 

Holmes appeared in court for the first time on Monday for an advisement hearing. He is being held in solitary confinement and will appear in court again on July 30.
