A man was shot and killed in the West Oak Lane section of the city on Tuesday afternoon. Police say they are searching for three men that fled from the scene. NBC10's Claudia Rivero reports.

A man is dead after a shooting in the West Oak Lane section of the city.

It happened around 3 p.m. on the 7000 block of Limekiln Pike. Police say a man in his 30's was in the parking lot of a Jamaican restaurant when two men walked up and shot him at least 10 times at close range before fleeing the scene. Police say they may have driven away in a White Chevy Traverse.

"The restaurant does not have private surveillance cameras," said Chief Inspector Scott Small. "We have a couple vehicles near the victim's body that will be towed and dusted for fingerprints."

Family members identify the victim as Renford Levy, 36, of Northeast Philadelphia. If you have any information on this incident, please call Philadelphia Police.
