One man is dead after a shooting Monday night in Trenton.
It happened on Route 29 North between the “Trenton Makes” bridge exit and Memorial Drive exit just before 8 p.m.
Police say two cars parallel to each other exchanged gunfire. The driver of a Ford Sedan was struck and killed.
The shooting also caused three fender benders as other drivers tried to avoid the gunfire.
Police identified the victim as Daquan Dowling, 23, of Trenton.
Police say as of now there is no indication of road rage or mistaken identity. Police continue to investigate.
