K-9 to Attend Partner's Funeral

Plymouth Township Police K-9, wounded during the shooting that took his partner's life, was released from a veterinary hospital.

A viewing will start at 2 p.m. Tuesday for fallen Plymouth Township Police Officer Brad Fox and his K-9 partner, Nick, will be there.

Fox was shot and died on Thursday after responding to a hit-and-run call, Nick was grazed by a bullet trying to protect him.

Only NBC10 was there as Nick was released from the Ryan Veterinary Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania on Tuesday morning. Plymouth Township Police Officer Andrew Adams picked up the Belgian Shepard and Nick will be staying with him.

The department says Nick will most likely be retired and eventually, the department would like him to live with Officer Fox's family.
