Camden Honors Decorated K-9 Officer Zero

Camden County Police honored one of its own Tuesday after New Jersey’s most-decorated K-9 officer died.

K-9 Officer Zero died Monday night, said county spokesman Dan Keashen.

Zero holds the record for apprehensions in the garden State, said Keashen. The dog also did outreach for the county police department as is evidenced by photos on the police department’s Facebook page that shows young people petting Zero.

No word yet on how Zero died.

Police held a processional for Zero’s body Tuesday.

No word yet on memorial plans.
