Firefighter Hurt, Businesses Damaged in Strip Mall Fire

A firefighter was injured and several businesses damaged after a fire broke out at a strip mall in Medford, New Jersey.

It happened around 2 a.m. at the Ironstone Village, a shopping center on Stokes Road. Several businesses, including the Kanamizu Restaurant, sustained major damage. Firefighters from several towns responded to the scene and controlled the blaze around 3:15 a.m.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries. He was treated at Virtua Hospital and later released. Police are currently investigating the cause of the blaze.
