Feds to Investigate Camden Fires

3 major fires in 10 days have city stymied

Dozens of federal agents will investigate the recent rash of fires in Camden, NJ. The latest was in an abandoned chemical plant early Sunday morning.

The fires happened within a 10-day span and are among the biggest in the city in recent years.

On June 9th, a 12-alarm fire destroyed an old tire warehouse and a dozen homes.

On June 11th, an 8-alarm fire ate through a vacant clothing warehouse.

It isnโ€™t clear if the fires were deliberately set.  But arson is suspected in Sundayโ€™s blaze.

Federal investigators will comb through Sundayโ€™s rubble, to check for possible links to the other fires.
