Authorities are seeking a motive for the fatal shooting of a man in Newark.
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray says police responding to reports of a shooting late Friday night found 29-year-old city resident Mustafa Hutchins in the 100 block of Sussex Avenue.
He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
No further details on the shooting have been disclosed, including how many shooters may have been involved or what type of weapon was used.
No arrests have been made.
