Two women were killed and two other people were injured

Two people were killed after a two-car crash late Thursday afternoon. Witnesses of the accident tell NBC10's Monique Braxton that one vehicle came up the street in the wrong direction and collided with another vehicle.

A mother and daughter were killed in a two-car crash late Thursday afternoon in Merchantville, Camden County, New Jersey.

The accident happened at Chapel and Russell Avenues at 4:00 p.m.

Witnesses of the accident tell NBC10's Monique Braxton that one vehicle came up the street in the wrong direction and collided with another vehicle.

Jason Laughlin with the Camden County Prosecutor's office told the Courier Post that a mother and daughter had died. He also confirmed that two other people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
