A 19-year-old Emmaus man was stabbed to death on Tuesday, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
Investigators say Cooper Wertman was on the 400 block of Chestnut Street in Emmaus Tuesday around 9:30 p.m. when an unidentified person stabbed him several times.
Wertman was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:21 p.m.
No arrests have been made.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and the Emmaus Police Department are investigating the incident with help from the Lehigh County District Attorney, the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
