Looking for a locally-grown Christmas tree? Well, in Delaware there’s an app for that.

Delaware residents looking for a Christmas tree grown in the First State can get help from a mobile phone application.

State officials say 30 farms that sell firs, spruces and pines are now participating in the Delaware Fresh application. The free app works on both the iPhone and Android phones and includes an interactive map of more than 80 farm stands around the state.

The application tells users what the farms grow and their hours and also provides driving directions.

Other state sponsored apps include the Delaware Recycling app, a practive license test app, the state library catalog and many more.
