Bob Casey is the Democratic senior senator from Pennsylvania. He was elected in 2006, after holding the Pennsylvania row offices of State Treasurer and Auditor General. Casey ran an unsuccessful 2002 campaign for Governor, a position his late father held from 1987-1995. He was born in Scranton and attended The College of Holy Cross and later earned a law degree from Catholic University. Casey and his wife Terese have four daughters.
