If you have what it takes, this could be your lucky day to land a job with a new cell phone company that's breaking into the Philly market.

In the current economy, all you seem to hear about is job cuts, downsizing and layoffs. You would never think a company would be hiring, but believe it or not one is right here in Philly.

Cricket Communications, a cell phone provider, is breaking into the Philadelphia market next year and needs to add 1,450 new employees. 250 employees would work for Cricket and 1,200 others would work for the telecom’s dealer partners.

They've already held one job fair this week. If you missed the first one, you still have one more chance:

Thursday, December 4
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Philadelphia Marriott Downtown: 1201 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Cricket is also accepting applications on it's website.

At the job fairs, the company will be recruiting for positions such as retail sales manager, assistant retail sales manager, retail store representative, customer operations manager, indirect account manager and indirect service specialist.
