Even some students learning virtually are getting a day off Thursday after inches of snow were dumped on much of the Philadelphia region. Philadelphia School District students, however, are expected to report for online learning.
With a major winter nor'easter hitting the Philadelphia region, hundreds of schools made changes to schedules on Thursday with some closing and others having delayed openings.

Some schools that are virtual anyway could decide to not change plans due to the storm. But others may give a day off in any case.
