Judge ordered the city to reinstate an officer after his murder charges were dropped
Officer Ryan Pownall was originally charged with third-degree murder for allegedly shooting David Jones in the back when he fled. A judged has dropped all of Pownall’s criminal charges and directed the city to reinstate him as an officer. The Citizens Police Oversight Commission doesn’t agree with the decision.
