Tonight's Lineup: Phillies Go With Same Lineup Night After Scoring 10 Runs

One night after tying a season-high with 10 runs, albeit in a losing effort, Phillies manager Pete Mackanin is sticking with the same exact lineup in hopes of finding some sort of offensive continuity.

The Phils will send out the same lineup tonight against Twins righty Kyle Gibson tonight in the second game of the teams' series at Target Field (see game notes).

That means Ryan Howard, despite an 0-for-5 effort that included two strikeouts, again finds himself in the cleanup spot.

It also means Andres Blanco is back at second base in place of Cesar Hernandez.

Against a struggling pitcher such as Gibson, who's 0-5 with a 6.06 ERA, it's worth a shot sending the same lineup out to see if something sticks.
