The Phillies have replaced Pat Neshek in the bullpen with one of their most intriguing young arms.
Right-handed reliever Jesen Therrien (pronounced Jason Terry-in) had his contract selected Friday from Triple A Lehigh Valley.
Therrien, a 24-year-old with a big fastball and a wipeout slider, had a 1.41 ERA in 39 appearances this season at Double A and Triple A. He struck out 65 and walked just nine in 57 1/3 innings.
