Union Fall to Fire in Preseason Matchup

The Union fell to the Chicago Fire, 4-2, in their second preseason game at the Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex on Thursday in Clearwater, Florida.

2016 MLS SuperDraft pick Fabian Herbers scored the first goal for the Union after he tapped in a cross from Sebastien Le Toux. Warren Creavalle added a late goal for the Union by scoring off of a cross from Walter Restrepo.

Herbers, midfielder Ken Tribbett and defenseman Keegan Rosenberry all made their debuts in the starting lineup for the Union.

Chicago's David Accam led the way for the Fire with two goals and one assist.

The Union's next preseason game is against D.C. United on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
