Tonight's Lineup: Mackanin Mixes Up Middle of Lineup

The Phillies look for their first win of the second half tonight in Game 2 of a three-game series against the Mets.

After falling, 5-3, Friday, Phillies manager Pete Mackanin has switched up the lineup for tonight's ballgame. Tommy Joseph, Cameron Rupp and Cesar Hernandez all have the night off

Joseph has been hot recently, recording a hit and scoring a run Friday. Joseph now has a July batting average of .407. Despite a small sample size, Ryan Howard is actually having his best month of the season, batting .250 in 16 at-bats. He'll be at first and will hit fifth tonight.

Carlos Ruiz makes the switch with Rupp at catcher. Ruiz has recorded a hit in his only three games played in July, including two RBIs against the Rockies on July 9.

Andres Blanco comes in at second base for Hernandez and will bat sixth. Blanco has had more than one at-bat just once in six July games.

Here's tonight's lineup:

1. Odubel Herrera, CF
2. Peter Bourjos, RF
3. Cody Asche, LF
4. Maikel Franco, 3B
5. Ryan Howard, 1B
6. Andres Blanco, 2B
