This week, we chatted with linebacker/special teams ace Kamu Grugier-Hill.
The media guide lists his favorite television show as ABC's "Shark Tank." (Shark Tank is a show in which entrepreneurs bring their growing companies looking for investments from a group of high-profile investors, or "sharks" as they're called on the show.)
DZ: It says your favorite TV show is Shark Tank.
KGH: It was. I stopped watching it.
DZ: OK, well I want to have a Shark Tank conversation.
KGH: OK, let's have a Shark Tank conversation.

DZ: If you were going on there - you don't have to tell me your Shark Tank idea, I know that's proprietary - but if you had an idea, what realm would it be in?
KGH: See, if I had an idea, I wouldn't be here, my friend. I'd be on Shark Tank making billions.
DZ: That's fair enough, but I know you think of ideas.
KGH: I always think of little things and I think it's so cool when people come up there with just the smallest little thing that, like, how has no one thought of that yet?
DZ: I had one.
KGH: What was it?
DZ: But then I found out that …
KGH: That it's already been done?
DZ: Well, it was before they had the washer and dryer in one. You know, how they have [that]? I thought, like, if you have a washer on top of a dryer.
KGH: And then it drops down?
DZ: And then it drops down, like a secret door.
KGH: Dude, that would be pretty sick.
DZ: Yeah, but they don't need that because they have the 2-in-1.
KGH: Do they have the 2-in-1?
DZ: (Dejected) Yeah.
KGH: Wow. That's a game-changer.
DZ: If you were up there and you had an idea, which shark would you …
KGH: Mark Cuban!
DZ: For sure?
KGH: Hands down.
DZ: Why?
KGH: Because the dude just knows what he's doing. He just … I don't know. Every time I watch him, he's just … he takes his time. And first of all, he has more money than all of them combined.
DZ: Yeah, he's loaded.
KGH: Yeah, he's loaded, so he knows what he's talking about, one. Two, he always gets the best ideas. He's not just in there just jumping on stupid stuff.
DZ: Would you be a hard bargainer?
KGH: Me? I don't know, I feel like I'm pretty easy to get. Like, ‘Sold! You got me!'
DZ: First offer?
KGH: Yeah, first offer. You got it. I always liked … what is her name again?
DZ: Which one? They had the short-haired lady …
KGH: No.
DZ: The longer-haired lady …
KGH: Yes.
DZ: Ummm … they call her, like, the Queen of QVC.
KGH: Yes!
DZ: Uhhh hold on … let me find out. (Starts checking phone.)
KGH: Don't tell me yet. Let me figure it out. When you say it, I'm going to know it exactly too.
Reuben Frank: Got it.
DZ: Yeah? What is it?
Roob: Uh, Lori …
DZ&KGH: (In unison) Lori!!!
KGH: Lori what?
Roob: Greiner.
KGH: I love her. I just love her. I think she's … I just love her.
Roob: It seems like Cuban is the one guy that, like, is really listening instead of trying to be clever.
KGH: That's what I said.
DZ: Yeah, he's treating it like a real business.
KGH: He's so serious. That's what I mean.
Roob: The others are looking for reasons to shoot something down. He's looking for a reason to make something work.
DZ: You don't watch it anymore?
KGH: Nah. But during the season, I don't watch much TV.
DZ: Gotcha. Alright, man. Thank you.
