A.I. to Lawyer: I Ain't No &*^$ Mob Boss

The ex-Sixer has been sued by the same lawyer three times…and Iverson’s sick of it.

Former 76er Allen Iverson unleashed a wrath of fury in an August deposition with Washington, D.C. lawyer Gregory Lattimer, according to The Detroit News.

If you ask A.I., it was well-deserved.

Lattimer has been hired to sue Iverson three times. The most recent because of a Detroit bar fight for which he was sued for $2.5M. Lucky for the unlucky ex-NBAer, a judge dismissed the case on Tuesday, reports The Detroit News.

And lucky for us, The Detroit News was able to obtain the deposition transcript – chock-full of Iverson gems for your entertainment.

It starts off with Iverson denying that he had anything to do with the 2009 fight.

“I get sued for stuff I don’t got nothing to do with. I don’t do nothing to nobody, buddy.”

The lawyer replied simply, “The head honcho ain’t supposed to.”

“Yeah, I ain’t no damn mob boss...That’s a fairytale that ya’ll are living in,” Iverson quips.

Lattimer goes on to question the former NBA star on his arrests and prior convictions before asking him if he plans on staying in Detroit to have some fun.

Ever the comedian, A.I. replies, “…I don’t know. I might stay here and have some fun if I can. You want to go out?”

He continues to tease, “The only way you gonna have friends is [if] they read to you, read you bedtime stories or something like that.”

In the deposition, Iverson also accuses Lattimer of having a personal vendetta against him.

“I know you lurking, man. I know you lurking…You’ve been involved with three suits against me. You know what to do, you got a plan.

To which Lattimer replied “I just go to work every day.”

“I know, and I’m the one that pays you,” said Iverson.

And after two Lattimer victories, A.I. finally has the last laugh with a courtroom win.

"Not this time, Jack, I die before I let you get me this time."
