Captain Kirk is trying to help a Connecticut teen get a date for the prom with Taylor Swift.
Kyle Mullins, a high school senior in Canton, has been using Facebook to spread the word about his wish to go to senior prom with the Grammy-winning country crossover sensation.
Kyle has not heard from Swift yet, but William Shatner somehow found out about the story and shared it with his 1.4 million Twitter followers.
He is the Priceline Negotiator, after all, so maybe he can make something happen.
If not, he has a suggestion for Swift’s next hit song: "We will never ever go to Prom together."
Kyle was on local radio station KISS 95.7 this morning and talked about Taylor, William Shatner and his back-up plans for prom.
“William Shatner and I are not really on like a first-name basis just yet, but apparently he Tweeted something about it, so that’s pretty good, I guess,” Mullins told the morning crew at the radio station.
