Teen Robs Jersey Shore Surf Shop: Police

An unemployed teenager broke into a Jersey Shore surf shop and stole hundreds of dollars, said authorities in South Jersey.

Wildwood Police announced Friday that a month-plus investigation into the May 13 heist at Kona Bike and Board House led them to Justin Daily.

Daily, 19, broke into the board shop at Arctic and Rio Grande avenues and too about $700 worth of gear, said police.

Investigators with the Wildwood Police Department Patrol and Detective Divisions arrested the Middle Township man on Friday and charged Daily with third-degree burglary and theft. A judge then sent Daily, who is unemployed, to the Cape May county jail after he was unable to post $35,000 bail.
