Social Media Scare Causes School Closings

The Upper Perikomen School District in Montgomery County was forced to cancel classes Monday over a social media scare. An anonymous post on Instagram referenced the Sandy Hook massacre. The individual responsible for the post has been identified and state police say there is no credible threat. Classes will be back on the following day, and after school activities will go on as planned.
