Sears will close its operations at the King of Prussia Mall, where it has had a presence for decades.
Sears has entered into a lease with Primark, a European retailer, to occupy up to 100,000 square feet of the lower level space it has at King of Prussia. The remainder of the Sear's space, about 75,000 square feet on the upper level, had already been leased to Dick's Sporting Goods.
In light of these leases, "Sears will no longer operate a retail store or auto center at King of Prussia Mall," the company said in a statement.
