NJ.com reports that 32-year-old Jason Ho, of New York City, was sentenced to up to 23 months in prison Monday. Co-defendant 23-year-old Nirup Reddy, of Flemington, New Jersey, was sentenced to five years' probation. Both were charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and conspiracy.

Police say Ho and Reddy were paid to transport 80 pounds of high-grade marijuana from South Whitehall Township to Rutgers. Authorities say both men were stopped a short time after picking up the shipment and arrested on Aug. 12.

Prosecutors say Reddy cooperated with their investigation while Ho was uncooperative.
