2 Men Rob, Pistol Whip Pizza Deliveryman in Philadelphia

Police are searching for two men who assaulted and robbed a pizza deliveryman in Philadelphia early Sunday morning.

The 34-year-old victim told police he was making a pizza delivery for Papa Nick’s Pizza to the 600 block of Foulkrod Street at 12:15 a.m. When he arrived at the home he saw two men sitting on the front steps.

After the deliveryman asked if they had ordered the pizza the first man asked, “how much” and the second man then pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money, according to police.

The suspects then took $120 from the deliveryman, the food order of pizza, steak and fries and a cell phone, investigators said. The deliveryman also told police one of the suspects pistol-whipped him as he went back into his vehicle to leave.

The deliveryman drove back to Papa Nick’s Pizza and called 911. Police checked the home on Foulkrod Street but did not find the suspects.

Both suspects are described as men between the ages of 25 and 30, standing 6-feet and weighing 180 pounds. One suspect was wearing a green t-shirt, camouflage long pants and a baseball hat. The second suspect was wearing a white t-shirt and carrying a black handgun.
